Sorry it has been so long since I have posted . Here are the babies back in June. This is when we first got thier bath seats.

6 months

It is hard to beleieve that they are now 6 months old. We went to Dr. Barron last week and here is how they sized up. Landon is 19lbs 12 oz. 27 1/2 inches and Addyson is 15lbs 15oz. 26 inches. The Dr. said that someone forgot to tell them they were preemies. Developmental we are up to speed and don't seem to be behind at this time. They are sitting up with some help (Landon's better at it than Addyson), jabbering all the time, Addyson makes grawling noise thanks to her daddy, rolling over completely, and Addyson is trying to crawl.

This week our friends little boy (Brady) informed me that the Easter bunny would not be coming to see the babies

because they can't eat candy.

Well Brady was wrong the Easter bunny did come to see Addyson and Landon.

What was I thinking to try to take twins to have their pictures made by myself.

Here is how things transpired. I had to wake the twins up at 9:30 am in order to be at the Galleria by for their appt. @ 11am. They were in great moods even stayed awake for the car ride. Yes, I think to myself I have timed this perfect this will fall in the time right after feeding and before nap time or so I thought. We get to Sears get stopped by people asking if they are twins. Finally make it to the portrait studio. Photographer comes out says it will be a few minutes till she is ready for them. I say "Great I need to finish feeding one and change their clothes." Everything still going great at this point. I have changed them and put them back in the stroller. The children are being great no crying or fussing, and if you have ever been with my son anywhere for a long period of time he doesn't like to stay in the stroller, but so far he is a angel. I thought it was taking a while but didn't think much about it until Addyson started crying ( the child who loves to be in stroller). I get her calmed when my son decided he was done and had enough of the stroller. Picked him up tried to console him, but he was done and finished with pictures in his mind. Keep in mind pictures had yet to began. We finally get started taking pictures. Landon was not the least bit happy. He was sleepy and all that mattered to him was NAP TIME. So while he is screaming his head off while his picture is being made, I start to feel drool on my shoulder when I realize that my perfectly quite child had now fallen asleep on my shoulder. So now my good child is asleep and done with pictures also. By this time I am done with pictures and just want to get away from there. I was unhappy with all the pictures but had a coupon for $4.99 and a free 10x13. So I picked the only picture that we could get of the two of them together. I was so over pictures I left their Easter outfits on and didn't care if they threw up on them. Needless to say I still have to get Easter pictures made and accomplished nothing. So now that I have 2 sleeping children and was leaving Sears I get a call from Steven. He ask where I was and I said "leaving Sears." He said "You must have some good pictures if your just now leaving." I said "It was horrible." He just started to laugh. By the way it was no wonder I had children that went from happy to mad to sleeping because I had been there for 2 1/2 hours. Now I am starving so I make my way to the food court. As I pass a two women, I hear one say to other "I can't believe she doesn't have any shoes or socks on those children." I bite my tongue, but in my mind I wanted to scream it is 75 degrees outside not 4o and if you had just dealt with picture time you wouldn't care either if they had shoes on. So maybe pictures weren't a good thing to try to do by myself. I will try to post the pictures when I get home from work.

4 months

Well we made it to 4months and the babies are healthy. Addyson weighs about 12lbs and Landon weighs about 15lb. Dr. Barron said he couldn't ask for better babies and that someone forgot to tell them they were preemies. He said that Addyson is showing developmental signs of a 4 1/2 to 5 month old, and Landon is showing signs of a normal infant. Which is a blessing since they are suppose to act like 2 1/2 month olds. By the way did I mention that Landon appears to be teething. You can see a tiny white spec on his bottom gums. So as you can imagine he is a little fussy and needy, but that is the male race for you a little pain they go to whining.
